JENNINGS STATE BANK
Stillwater, Minnesota

This new 7500 s.f. community bank forms the edge of a transitional zone between commercial and residential districts. The bank's exterior design recalls nearby residential character in its gable roof forms and porch elements. The design responds to the adjacent commercial district in its use of materials and color, larger scaled metal windows and a clean, restrained level of detailing. A window wall positioned along Stillwater Boulevard invites clients into the main lobby, with its extensive wood millwork, central brick fireplace and arched wood ceiling. Wood canopies shelter the four teller and two service desks, providing an intimate sense of scale, lighting, and acoustics.
